There is no charge for a quotation and no account needed.
02 What moves the rate
Steel is a traded commodity. Mill price moves, and it moves for everyone on the same day — including us.
Fe 550D costs more than Fe 500. A heavier ISMB section costs more per metre than a lighter one carrying the same depth.
A full bundle, a full truck and a single bag are three different rates. Quantity moves the number more than anything else on this list.
Where it is going, and whether it shares a load with other material heading the same way.
Branded, mill-certified stock costs more than unbranded bar. We do not stock the second kind, so this is a choice between brands rather than a choice to skip one.
Sizes, grades and quantities are enough to start. A person replies with the current number and what is actually on the rack.
04 Check the quote
The chart every quotation in this trade is built on.
Before you compare two quotes, check they are quoting the same thing. Steel is billed by weight and roofing by coated thickness — both are places where numbers get quietly moved.

ACC, UltraTech and Bharathi all move with the market and with load size — a single bag over the counter and a full truck to site are not the same rate. Tell us the brand, grade and bag count and we will quote the current figure.
A price printed on a web page is either stale or padded to cover the risk of being stale. Steel moves daily and cement moves with freight and season. Quoting on request means the number you get is the number you can actually buy at.
We state the validity on the quote itself. For steel it is usually short, because the market moves. Always reconfirm before a large order rather than working from an old sheet.
Delivery is worked out on distance and load size. Sirsi town is usually the same day. For Siddapur, Yellapur, Banavasi, Mundgod, Kumta and Honnavar it goes on scheduled runs, and the charge is shown on the quote rather than added later.
