02 Overview

Tube is where the wrong class costs you twice — once when it fails and again when it is replaced. We stock GP (pre-galvanised) and MS black pipe across the full nominal-bore range in light, medium and heavy class, plus square and rectangular hollow sections for gates, grills, trusses and shed frames.

05 FAQ

Pipes & Tubes — your questions

What is the difference between GP tube and MS tube?

GP tube is galvanised — zinc-coated steel formed into pipe — so it resists rust without painting. MS tube is plain black steel and needs paint or primer. In the Malnad rainfall belt, GP is worth the extra for anything left outdoors.

Which pipe class should I use — light, medium or heavy?

Light class for non-structural work such as curtain rods and light railings. Medium class is the everyday structural choice. Heavy class for load-bearing columns, buried lines and high pressure.

Do you supply pipe cut to length?

Yes, for most sizes. Cutting charges depend on the section and the number of cuts — confirm at the counter when you place the order.
